Luke 5:12-13 says, “While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him. ”

I want to bring a simple encouraging word to you today and tell you that “God is willing.” This passage is super encouraging to me because it tells me a few things about God:

  1. He not only has the power to heal, but has the desire to heal. That is a big deal!!!!
  2. He will heal and restore the things that no one else even wants to touch. The areas (leprosy) in your life that everyone else has given up on is the exact area that god is willing to restore.
  3. When God speaks one word over your life, everything instantly changes. “Be clean”. You don’t need God to speak 100 words over you. You just Him to speak one word over your life and ministry.

Maybe you have been needing a breakthrough in your life for months, years, even decades (financial, physical, relational, etc.). God is not only able, but willing to heal you. Don’t give up and don’t get weary in your walk with Christ (Galatians 6:9). Come to the father expecting God to heal you because “he is willing.”
