Ecclesiastes 1:18 says, “For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.”

People think that leadership and wisdom is more fun and games, but it is quite the opposite. Wise leaders see things others do not see and therefore carry burdens others do not carry. Don’t run from wisdom or furthermore…. Don’t run from the sorrow of wisdom. Allow the sorrow from wisdom to ignite in you a holy resolve to make a difference in your world. Wisdom will give you a burden for people. It will challenge you to go beyond expectations in your life. Wisdom has a price, but it is a price worth paying. Embrace it! I would rather go through some sorrow to lead people to eye opening joy, than to never see sorrow and others never experience joy. What did Jesus do?
